The Clinical Partner (CP) provides basic technical nursing skills (deemed competent) and delegated tasks (i.e., wound care, discontinuing a saline lock, discontinuing a Foley catheter) under the direction and/or supervision of the registered nurse in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, Florida Statutes and BHSF policy. The CP is a valued member of the nursing team who works in close collaboration with the assigned RN to provide safe and quality patient centered care. Examples of nursing activities that cannot be delegated to unlicensed assistive personnel include: assessment and evaluation of the impact of interventions on care provided to the patient.

Degrees: High School Diploma, Certificate of Attendance, Certificate of Completion or GED.

Licenses & Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)license in Florida, validLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Florida.

Additional qualifications: CNA or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.One year experience preferred. Previous experience as a CNA or LPN in an acute care facility in the state of Florida, preferred.

Minimum required experience: one year.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
