ED Tech 2, Emergency Department, PT, 12P-12:30A

The Emergency Department Technician (EDT) is a staff position responsible for providing basic technical patient care skills under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). The EDT works in close collaboration with an assigned RN to provide safe and quality patient care, is a valued member of the patient care team, and functions under the direction of the RN.
Degrees: High School Diploma, Certificate of Attendance, Certificate of Completion or GED.
Licenses & Certifications: valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Florida, valid Paramedic license in Florida, valid Emergency Medical Technician license in Florida, valid Certified Nursing Assistant in Florida, Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Additional qualifications: one year experience preferred. Paramedic, or Licensed Practical Nurse, or Emergency Medical Technician-EMT (If hired at BHSF prior to 2012) or Certified Nursing Assistant-CNA (if hired at BHSF prior to 2012). And Basic Life Support, or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Req for Paramedic & LPN).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
